About Us

My name is Doug Upton and I started my coffee journey in 2015. I was a casual coffee drinker but didn't know anything about how it was roasted, processed, or even the basic points of brewing.

I began reading and immersing myself in the coffee industry while in the Marines, acquiring a variety of brewing devices (espresso machine, aeropress, french press, v60, chemex, etc.)

Brewing turned into roasting, I started with a popcorn popper, then a Behmor, and now a 1 kilogram drum roaster.

Passionate about naturally-processed coffees with my friends, familiy, and local community.
